PM Modi’s Four-Point Mantra: ‘Perform, Reform, Transform, Inform’ For Ministers

In an extensive meeting with his ministerial colleagues, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a clear and unwavering message: work tirelessly and focus on effective governance. The meeting, which took place at the Sushma Swaraj Bhavan on Wednesday, stretched over five hours and covered a wide range of topics. According to sources, the Prime Minister spent about 40 minutes outlining his expectations and providing a new four-point mantra: “Perform, Reform, Transform, Inform.”

Emphasis on Social Media Engagement and Public Communication

Prime Minister Modi urged his ministers to actively connect with the public through social media. He emphasized the importance of portraying the government as both responsible and responsive, instructing ministers to expedite their responses to public queries and concerns online. Additionally, he directed them to highlight 10 major decisions made by their respective ministries as the Modi 3.0 government nears its 100-day mark. The ministers were also encouraged to disseminate this information on a large scale to ensure the public is well-informed about the government’s initiatives.

Focus on Communication and Ministerial Responsibility

The Prime Minister placed particular emphasis on the need for faster and more effective communication of the government’s decisions. He specifically addressed newly inducted ministers, emphasizing the importance of their roles in conveying the government’s achievements and plans. PM Modi’s call for improved communication also included a directive to prepare for the celebration of welfare schemes that are completing 10 years on September 5.

Review of Key Government Decisions and Budget Announcements

During the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba presented an overview of 73 significant decisions made within the first 85 days of the government’s third term. The meeting also included detailed discussions on the Budget announcements made by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, as well as presentations on improvements in the health, education, and infrastructure sectors.

A Light-Hearted Warning from PM Modi

In closing, PM Modi offered a light-hearted yet pointed remark to his ministers, indicating that this intensive meeting was just a “small dose” of what they should expect moving forward. He hinted that they should become accustomed to his relentless pace and commitment to working without rest.

This meeting underscores PM Modi’s dedication to ensuring that his government remains efficient, responsive, and deeply connected with the public, while pushing forward with significant reforms and initiatives across various sectors.
