PM Modi Talks To Probable Ministers Ahead Of Swearing-In Ceremony

Before the upcoming swearing-in-ceremony, Prime-minister designate Narendra Modi, has recently talked to members of parliament, who might be part of the cabinet.

Earlier on the day, PM-designate had hosted high-tea at his house at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg in national capital Delhi.

In the aftermath of tea meeting, former Haryana CM and MP of Karnal, Manohar Lal Khattar said, ‘It is a tradition of Narendra Modi that he calls people to his residence for a tea meeting. He only calls those whom he wants to induct into his cabinet. Some formalities were to be done, which I have completed. He has asked for us to stay in Delhi for the next 24 hours. Apart from me from Haryana, Rao Inderjit Singh and Krishan Pal Gurjar were also present in the meeting…’

Who Will Make the Cut in Modi 3.0 Cabinet?

Later, Rajya Sabha MP Ramdas Athawale, announced, that he will be part of new ministers to be inducted.

BJP Leader from Rajasthan Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who also attended the meeting said,

‘.. The Prime Minister has given me the opportunity to serve the country by including me in his team for the third consecutive time. We will work as a team under the leadership of the Prime Minister and will fulfil all the promises and live up to the expectations and aspirations of the country.’

Then through video interaction, PM Modi also briefed the probable ministers, thus setting the tone and priorities of the future government.

Also, various leaders like Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Dharmendra Pradhan, Piyush Goyal, Ravneet Singh Bittu etc. attended the meeting of would-be ministers who will join Modi cabinet.

However, when Former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan was asked about him getting a ministerial post, he said ‘I have no information as of now….’

Meanwhile, on June 5, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) unanimously approved a resolution to select Narendra Modi as their leader.

PM-designate Narendra Modi along with council of ministers will take oath of office at 7:15 pm in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan today.
