Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu honored Dr. BR Ambedkar with flowers on Wednesday, the 67th anniversary of his passing, known as “Mahaparinirvan Diwas.” The architect of the Constitution was honored today at his statue in the Parliament grounds by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla, and other lawmakers. Previously, “X” PM posted on social media, saying, “Pujya Baba Saheb was not only the creator of the Indian Constitution but also an enduring advocate for social harmony who devoted his life to the betterment of the oppressed and underprivileged. I offer my sincere respects to him on this day of his Mahaparinirvana.
