Strategic Talks to Strengthen Bilateral Relations
During the visit, Prime Minister Modi will co-chair the second Leaders’ Meeting of the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The high-level meeting will enhance cooperation in sectors such as energy, investment, innovation, and security.
Emphasis on Strengthening India-Saudi Arabia Cooperation
The Strategic Partnership Council, which was set up in 2019, provides an important forum to track and develop bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The second edition of the council meeting is likely to examine progress and design new initiatives to further bilateral cooperation.
The visit reaffirms India’s increasing engagement with West Asia, especially with Saudi Arabia, a major Indian energy partner and a key contributor to regional stability.
