PM Modi congratulates actor Chiranjeevi for Indian Film Personality of the Year at IFFI

At the 53rd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, Superstar Chiranjeevi has been honored with Indian Film Personality of the Year on which Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the actor on Monday.

Taking to Twitter PM Modi tweeted, “Congratulations to him on the occasion of being selected for the prestigious Indian Film Personality of the Year Award at the International Film Festival of India @IFFIGoa in Goa.”

Meanwhile, PM Modi praised the actor and his acting skills.

Earlier on Sunday the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur made this announcement at the opening ceremony of the 53rd edition of the Indian Film Personality of the Year in which the actor was not present.

Taking to Twitter Union Minister Thakur congratulated Chiranjeevi and wrote, “INDIAN FILM PERSONALITY @IFFIGoa..Sh Chiranjeevi Ji has had an illustrious career spanning almost four decades, w/ over 150 films as an actor, dancer & producer. He is immensely popular in Telugu Cinema w/ incredible performances touching hearts! Congratulations @KChiruTweets.”

Moreover, in the four decades of his career, Chiranjeevi has been honored with numerous awards including 10 Filmfare awards and 4 Nandi awards.
