A tragic shooting incident unfolded late Thursday night outside Amaravati Mall in Pinjore, Haryana’s Panchkula district, leaving one man dead and another critically injured. The incident seems to have occurred due to “personal enmity.” A video that has surfaced also ties the incident links with Anmol Bishnoi.
Details About The Incident
The attack took place around 10:30 PM when Sonu and Prince, both residents, exited the Amaravati mall with friends after watching a movie. As they approached their SUV, two unknown gunmen ambushed them and opened fire. According to police reports, one bullet first struck the car’s window. When Sonu stepped out, he was hit by multiple bullets, reportedly six to seven rounds, and died on the spot.
Prince got shot in his leg and was suffering when help came. He was rushed to the Civil Hospital, Sector 6. He was later transferred to PGIMER, Chandigarh, because his injuries were extremely severe.
Gangster Name Dropped in Viral Video Claiming Responsibility
Soon after the murder, a disturbing video surfaced on social media, showing a group of men claiming responsibility for the attack. In the video, one of them confesses to killing Sonu, citing “personal enmity” and mentions gangster Anmol Bishnoi. For context, Anmol Bishnoi is an Indian gangster and the younger brother of Lawrence Bishnoi. The men are seen openly displaying two pistols.
The Pinjore police, led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Srishti Gupta, visited both the hospital and the crime scene. They recovered bullet casings, live cartridges, and seized the SUV used by the victims for forensic analysis.
“We’ve taken note of the video and are verifying its authenticity,” said a police official. “Several teams are working to track and arrest those involved.”
As investigations continue, the video is being analysed for leads. Police haven’t confirmed if the men in the clip are directly connected to Bishnoi’s gang, but the use of his name is being taken seriously, and investigations are ongoing to verify the credibility of this video.
