Pakistan’s Launches 35-Minute Drone Assault On Jammu: India Downs Fighter Jets And Drones

A coordinated aerial strike by Pakistan late Thursday night hit military installations in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur for around 35 minutes. Indian defence systems, including the cutting-edge S-400, successfully destroyed most of the incoming drones and missiles, mostly over strategic places like Jammu airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia, and surrounding areas. Two Kamikaze drones were said to have been brought down in Poonch.

In spite of this strong defence, one of the drones did hit close to the Jammu airport, but no casualty or injury was reported. In a strong retaliation, India reportedly shot down two JF-17 and one Pakistani F-16 fighter aircraft, as well as an Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) plane within Pakistan’s Punjab state.

This significant rise in cross-border hostilities heightens regional tensions, with Indian troops staying on the alert to respond to any more aggression.
