Responding to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s Pok’s remarks, leader of the National Conference Farooq Abdullah said that Pakistan too has nuclear weapons.
The senior NC leader recently responded to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement about the merger of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) with India.
His exact wordings were “If the defense minister is saying it, then go ahead. Who are we to stop? But remember, they (Pakistan) are also not wearing bangles.”
He further continued that they have atom bombs and in the potential conflict, it will fall on us. “It has atom bombs, and unfortunately, that atom bomb will fall on us.”- said Farooq Abdullah.
While addressing the rally in Darjeeling West Bengal, Rajnath Singh has recently expressed confidence that in the coming times, the people of Pok will eventually demand to be a part of India, considering India’s rapid development.
He further reassured the public that PoK is and will remain a part of India. “Don’t worry. PoK was, is and will remain ours.” said Defence minister Rajnath Singh.
Earlier, external minister S Jaishankar too said that Pok is an integral part of India during an interactive session in Cuttack.
