In response to the national security initiative Operation Sindoor, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has ordered police to detain all Pakistani and Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in the state. Officials have been told to remain on high alert.

Security has been increased at all Army and Navy offices as well as other key defence establishments in Hyderabad and other parts of the state. CM Reddy instructed top police and intelligence officials to ensure heightened surveillance at all vulnerable locations.
Emergency staff leaves cancelled, rally planned
During a review meeting, the Chief Minister also cancelled leaves of employees from all emergency-related departments. Additional surveillance is being implemented in district headquarters and sensitive zones.
In a show of solidarity with the armed forces, the Telangana government will hold a rally on Thursday in support of the Indian Army, which will see participation from the Chief Minister and his cabinet members.
