Oil Companies Hike 19 kg Commercial LPG Cylinder Price by Rs 39 to Rs 1,691.50 in Delhi

The price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders have been hiked by Rs 39, by Oil marketing companies have increased effective from Sunday i.e today. With this hike, the new retail price for a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi is Rs 1,691.50.

Previously, on July 1, oil marketing companies had reduced the price of these cylinders by Rs 30 to provide some relief to businesses and commercial enterprises. This reduction had brought the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi down to Rs 1,646. Before that, on June 1, the price was decreased by Rs 69.50, lowering it to Rs 1,676. An earlier reduction on May 1, 2024, saw the price cut by Rs 19 per cylinder.

These frequent price adjustments at the beginning of each month demonstrate the fluctuating nature of the market. Factors such as international oil prices, taxation policies, and supply-demand dynamics greatly influence these pricing decisions. While the specific reasons for the recent price changes have not been explicitly stated, it is clear that oil marketing companies are actively responding to the broader economic environment and market conditions.
