NTA Announces Revised NEET-UG 2024 Results

On Thursday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the revised or new NEET-UG 2024 results.

These results were declared, after supreme court ordered the removal of extra marks awarded to some selected students over physics question.

In the beginning, NTA gave extra marks to candidates, who gave a wrong answer as per old NCERT class 12 science textbook.

But later on, Tuesday, supreme court declared, that only sole correct answer will be accepted and other answers, no extra marks will be given.

Thus, candidates who had been awarded perfect 720/720 marks will witness the loss of four marks.

Meanwhile, education minister Dharmendra Pradhan had declared, that results for NEET-UG 2024 will be announced in coming two days in accordance with supreme court observations.

In order to access NEET-UG 2024 results, here are the following steps that need to be followed: –

  1. Visit the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
  2. Look and select the link for revised marks in the homepage.
  3. Register DOB (Date of Birth) & Application Number
  4. Send the details to see your new marks.

The NEET-UG exams has been part of a lot of controversies this 2024. The controversy begun with results announcement on June 4, where some students scored perfect marks of 720/720. As a result, it witnessed huge protests from students who alleged irregularities in the examination including paper leak and other malpractices.
