Several bomb threats were sent through mail prompting the evacuation of several Noida schools on Wednesday. Among the schools were Step by Step School and Heritage School.
The authorities immediately responded by asking the children to go home and informing the police. Authorities conducted thorough investigations and declared the threats as hoaxes.
Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and conducted an exhaustive investigation. Security teams, including bomb disposal squads, were deployed to check the entire area for potential threats. The officials have not confirmed the origin of the emails but are taking the matter seriously.
“We are investigating the source of these threats and ensuring the safety of all students and staff,” said an official.
Authorities have urged parents to remain calm while they continue their probe. Schools are expected to resume normal operations after clearance from security teams.
