The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, congratulated the entire team involved in the caste-based enumeration work and said that the survey not only revealed the castes but also provided information about everyone’s economic situation after the Bihar Government released the caste survey data. The Other Backward Caste (OBC) and Extremely Backward Class (EBC) together make up 63% of the state’s population, according to data from a caste survey released by the Bihar government and relevant to the Lok Sabha elections next year.
“Today, on the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the data of the caste-based census conducted in Bihar has been published. Many congratulations to the entire team engaged in the work of caste-based enumeration!” Bihar CM posted on X (Formerly Twitter).
