Nitish Kumar Accuses Congress of Neglecting “INDIA Bloc” Amid State Polls

Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar and the leader of the Janata Dal-United (JDU), criticized the Congress during the Communist Party of India’s (CPI) ‘BJP Hatao, Desh Bachao’ rally in Patna. Nitish Kumar expressed concern that the Congress appeared preoccupied with state assembly elections in five states, implying a lack of enthusiasm for the India bloc’s advancement.

Nitish Kumar stated that the coalition will continue to fight for the country and that coalition meetings will resume once the elections in five states are completed.
“The government in the center is attempting to change the country’s history and legacy.” We must protect the country from such forces. As a result, we have formed an all-opposition coalition.

Nitish Kumar asserted that the bloc won’t stop the fight for the country and added that the meetings of the coalition will resume once the elections in five states are over.
“The government in the center is trying to alter the history of the country and the legacy of the country. We should save the country from such forces. So we have formed a coalition of all opposition parties, urging them all to unite against those trying to tarnish the country’s history,” he said in a statement.

Despite these reservations, Nitish Kumar emphasized that the coalition would not halt its efforts to fight for the country. He announced that the coalition meetings would resume after the elections in the five states were concluded.

The JDU leader further stated that “some anti-social elements” are attempting to incite conflict between Hindus and Muslims in the country when there are no issues between the two communities. ” The BJP tries to incite conflict between Hindus and Muslims, but there is no conflict between Hindus and Muslims. “These people attempt to do something. They have accomplished a great deal since 2007. There are some anti-social elements, and those in power want to unite them in order to sow discord,” CM Nitish Kumar added. Furthermore, he accused them of inciting unrest for their own benefit.

The upcoming state elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram are scheduled for November 7 to November 30, with vote counting set for December 3. These elections will set the stage for the 2024 general election, with nearly 16 crore eligible voters. Nitish Kumar’s statements reflect the dynamics and challenges within the opposition bloc as they prepare for these crucial state elections.
