NIA Releases Photo of Suspected Bomber in Rameswaram Cafe Blast; Announces Rs 10 Lakh Reward

In a significant development in the investigation of the Rameswaram Cafe bomb blast that occurred on March 1, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has released the photograph of the suspected terrorist. The NIA, relying on CCTV footage, unveiled the image of the accused, offering a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh to anyone providing information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Initial doubts arose due to the masked appearance of the individual with a cap during the incident. However, a breakthrough occurred during the examination of CCTV footage, revealing a moment when the accused was not wearing a mask. Originally handled by the CCB and investigated by eight police teams, the case saw no breakthrough. Subsequently, the NIA took charge of the investigation. Earlier in Bengaluru, a group was released from jail had planned a major act of vandalism, leading to the arrest of four individuals. The NIA continues its investigation, detaining three individuals in Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada districts on Tuesday.

The blast occurred at Rameswaram Cafe in Kundalahalli, Bangalore, injuring nine people on March 1.
