The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has seized four immovable properties belonging to 11 accused individuals in the Pune ISIS module case, categorizing them as ‘proceeds of terrorism’. These properties, located in Kondhwa, Pune (Maharashtra), are associated with 11 accused persons, including three who are currently absconding, according to the NIA’s statement on Sunday.
The NIA stated that this action is a significant step towards fulfilling its objective of dismantling the networks of global terrorist organizations operating within the country. The agency highlighted that the four properties were being utilized for activities related to IED fabrication, training, and planning of terrorist acts.
All 11 accused have already been charged by the NIA in connection with the case. The properties, which include residential houses and flats, have been attached under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
