Nepal’s Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli has extended an invitation to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Nepal. The invitation was conveyed by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, who met with Prime Minister Oli during his visit to Nepal, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
Oli, who recently assumed office for the fourth time after the fall of the government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ invited PM Modi to visit the Himalayan nation. Misri also met with former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba at his Budhanilkantha residence on the outskirts of Kathmandu.
During their discussions, the focus was on enhancing Nepal-India relations and advancing mutually beneficial cooperation, Deuba’s office stated.
