NEET UG 2024 Result–NTA Announces New Grace Marks Policy,Releases Toppers List

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) results on June 4. Students can check their results and download scorecards from the official website, exams.nta.ac.in. This year’s cut-off for general category candidates has increased from last year’s 720-137 to 720-164. A total of 67 students shared the all-India rank 1, each scoring a 99.997129 percentile.

The NEET UG 2024 results were released based on the final answer key. Although the results were anticipated in June, the NTA declared them earlier than expected. According to NTA’s data, 9,96,393 male candidates, 13,31,321 female candidates, and 17 transgender candidates appeared for the exam, with an overall attendance rate of 96.94%. The attendance rates for male, female, and transgender candidates were 96.92%, 96.96%, and 94.44% respectively.

Uttar Pradesh topped the list with the highest number of qualified candidates (1,65,047), followed by Maharashtra (1,42,665), Rajasthan (1,21,240), and Tamil Nadu (89,426).

 AIIMS Seats

Although 67 students achieved rank 1, AIIMS New Delhi had only 48 open-category seats in 2023. The institute had a total of 132 seats, with specific allocations: three for open-PWD candidates, 11 for General-EWS, 32 for OBC, 18 for SC, nine for ST, one each for SC-PwD and Gen-EWS PwD, and two for OBC-PwD.
