NDA seizes opportunity after Lalu’s Muslim quota remark

The BJP leaves no opportunity to catch Congress or the I.N.D.I.A alliance off guard with their statements. BJP with keen observations and meticulous planning makes sure to bring to light and interpret the statements given by any of the political leaders from the opposition. As opposition leaders make controversial remarks, the BJP adeptly challenges their credibility, aiming to sway public opinion in its favor and undermining the opposition’s influence.

A recent statement by RJD leader Lalu Yadav advocating for reservations for Muslims could significantly impact the prospects of the Indian alliance, particularly in states like Uttar Pradesh, where only 28 out of 80 seats have been contested.

With half of the remaining seats nationwide still up for grabs, the outcome remains uncertain. Until now, the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been directing their criticism towards the Congress over various issues such as the Congress manifesto and the topic of Muslim reservations in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Lalu Yadav’s recent remarks have further fueled the politics of polarization, adding weight to existing tensions. As soon as Lalu’s statement came, Prime Minister Modi immediately took on Congress and Indi alliance. Meanwhile, BJP did not delay in making SP leader Ramkripal Yadav’s statement on Ram temple an issue.

Following the low voter turnout in the first phase, the BJP altered its election strategy and began emphasizing polarizing politics during the elections. BJP by changing its election strategy, it started playing the elections on the pitch of polarization politics.
Making a strategic move the Prime Minister Modi eloquently, first made the Congress manifesto an issue and linked it to the Muslim League.

After that, he launched scathing attack on Congress by highlighting, the points of confiscating the property and distributing it among the Muslims.

Even Mangal Sutra was reiterated as a significant issue. Along with this, in 2005, the Congress government in Andhra Pradesh Attacked Congress for giving reservation. Congress was equally targeted by BJP regarding Ram Temple and Ayodhya. The campaign for the third phase was completely based around the issue of Hindutva.

Last Monday, in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a road show after having the darshan of Ram Lala in
Ayodhya.
