Muslim Community Prays for Hindu Minorities in Bangladesh

Muslim community members, led by Uttarakhand Waqf Board Chairman Shadab Shams, gathered at Piran Kaliyar Sharif on Monday. They offered a ‘chaadar’ and prayed for an end to the alleged atrocities against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh.

Highlighting the Situation

During the gathering, Shams strongly condemned the reported persecution in Bangladesh. “We have come to stand against the oppressors and advocate for the rights of the oppressed,” he said. Furthermore, he accused ISI and Jamaat-e-Islami of orchestrating what he called a “nefarious conspiracy.”

He elaborated on the troubling conditions, saying, “Temples are being demolished, women are unsafe, and democracy has been silenced.” These issues, he emphasized, require immediate attention and action.

Drawing from Faith

Shams, referencing the Quran, pointed out, “Innallaha Ma’asahirin,” meaning “God is with the oppressed and against the oppressors.” He urged people not to harm the vulnerable. “If the cries of the oppressed reach God, He will destroy those responsible,” he warned.

A Call for Justice

Moreover, Shams expressed confidence that their prayers would bring change. “We believe our collective prayers will not go unanswered,” he stated.

Overall, the gathering served as a powerful demonstration of solidarity, calling for peace, justice, and the protection of minority rights.
