Mrs. Globe International 2025, Anuradha Garg, is all set to attend the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, scheduled for mid-May. She will be the first-ever woman with this title to represent India on such a renowned global platform.
“My calendar is packed with various activities and commitments in the coming days. Attending the Cannes Film Festival is one of them,” Anuradha said in an interview with The Daily Guardian. On this global stage, her foremost message to women in India is to never give up on their dreams. “Never focus on the constraints—focus on the solutions and your goals in life,” she emphasized.
“After winning the crown, my life has completely changed. I’m overwhelmed by the love and affection people have been showering on me,” she shared.
In addition to her Cannes appearance, Anuradha is set to judge multiple beauty pageants across the globe. She believes that family plays a crucial role in my life and this success. “One should always believe in their dreams and work consistently toward them. Challenges are inevitable, but persistence, proper guidance, and the right direction help overcome any difficulty,” she said.
“My husband, in-laws, and 13-year-old daughter have supported me immensely. Family is an integral part of my life,” she said.
She added that this type of pageants have no age restrictions, so women, regardless of their age, can participate and make their dreams come true.
Speaking about beauty pageants, she clarified that it’s not just about physical appearance but the overall personality and character of a person. “It’s not only about how beautifully you answer the questions. What truly matters is your holistic approach. They observe how humble, grounded and disciplined you are. They also notice how gracefully you handle different situations. Integrity and grace are what truly stand out,” she said.
When asked about her entry into the film industry, Anuradha said it’s too early to talk about, but she’s open to any promising opportunities. “It’s premature to speak on that, but I’ll never say never to a good opportunity,” she noted.
Addressing the disparity between the support received by Miss and Mrs. titleholders, she acknowledged that the level of sponsorship and recognition for Miss titleholders is still significantly higher. “There’s a noticeable difference in the kind of support and sponsorship received by winners of the Miss title compared to Mrs. titleholders in our country,” she said.
Anuradha Garg, a finance professional from Gurugram, made history by becoming India’s first-ever Mrs. Globe International, triumphing over contestants from 59 countries at the 2025 pageant held in Shenzhen, China, early this week.
She was earlier crowned Mrs. India Globe 2024 at the Rajasthali Resort & Spa and views pageantry as a powerful platform to inspire and empower women. Representing India on the international stage, she proudly showcased the country’s rich culture and values.
