Mohali Police Busts International Car Theft Gang; 9 Stolen Luxury Cars Recovered

Mohali Police has succeeded in arresting two members of an international luxury car theft gang from whom the police have recovered 9 stolen luxury cars. Giving information in this regard, SSP Mohali Dr. Sandeep Kumar Garg informed that the Mohali Special Cell team has succeeded in arresting two members of the luxury tax theft gang. He informed that during the investigation of a case, Ramesh, a resident of Rohtak, was arrested who, during interrogation, revealed the identity of the gang leader Amit. resident of Rohtak who was trying to flee abroad and has been arrested by the Special Cell from the International Airport in Delhi. The doctor did not say that during interrogation of the arrested culprits, they told that they had killed 100 people in accidental deaths in different states. After buying vehicles, they used to keep their papers with themselves and dismantle the vehicles. After that, they used to steal luxury cars of this model and color and tamper with their engines and vehicle numbers and sell them in foreign countries like Myanmar etc. The arrested Amit also revealed that the main kingpin of his gang is Khihaito Adomi resident Dimapur Nagaland who has so far supplied more than 400 stolen vehicles by crossing the international border. He told that during the arrest, a total of 400 stolen vehicles were recovered from Ramesh and Amit.

9 luxury cars have been recovered. These include 5 Fortuners, 2 Innova Crysta, 1 Creta, 1 Brezza. He said that 20 cases each have already been registered against the arrested persons. Further investigation is going on in the case.
