Madhya Pradesh: Father Rapes Daughter For 4 Years
A 40-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting his 21-year-old daughter for the past four years. The accused, whose identity has not been disclosed, is a resident of Chhatarpur district.
The victim, who mustered the courage to report the heinous crime, filed a complaint with the Lavkush Nagar police station on Thursday. She alleged that her father had been exploiting her sexually since she was 17 years old and had threatened to kill her if she revealed the abuse.
The accused has been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and for rape under the Indian Penal Code. The Chhattarpur police have launched a manhunt to apprehend him, and several teams have been formed to investigate the case.
