Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 7: Final Phase of Lok Sabha Elections on June 1: Complete List of Constituencies and Key Candidates

The seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 is scheduled for June 1. During this phase, voters from 57 Lok Sabha constituencies across eight states and union territories will cast their ballots. Voting will take place in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Chandigarh. A total of 904 candidates are contesting in these 57 constituencies.

A total of 328 candidates are contesting from Punjab, and 144 from Uttar Pradesh for 13 seats each. Bihar has 134 candidates for eight seats, Odisha has 66 candidates for six seats, Jharkhand has 52 candidates for three seats, Himachal Pradesh has 37 candidates for four seats, and Chandigarh has 19 candidates for one seat.

Key Candidates in Phase 7:

  1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi (BJP) and Ajay Rai (Congress):
    • Varanasi has been Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constituency since 2014. Congress has fielded Ajay Rai against Modi for the third time. Rai, a former BJP member, joined Congress in 2012 and previously contested from Varanasi in 2014 and 2019, finishing third in the latter election.
  2. Ravi Kishan (BJP):
    • In Gorakhpur, actor-turned-politician Ravi Kishan is contesting for BJP, facing Kajal Nishad from Samajwadi Party. Ravi Kishan won the seat in 2019 with over 60% of the votes.
  3. Kangana Ranaut (BJP):
    • Actress Kangana Ranaut is running from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi seat for BJP, competing against Congress’s Vikramaditya Singh, son
