Amid ongoing tensions, Indian and Pakistani armed forces have reported significant fatalities in recent clashes along the Line of Control (LoC).
India Reports 35-40 Pakistani Soldiers Killed
During an official briefing, Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai stated that at least 35 to 40 Pakistani soldiers were killed during the confrontation. He also confirmed the loss of five Indian soldiers in the same encounter.
Pakistan Claims Higher Indian Casualties
Responding to India’s statement, Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar claimed that 40 to 50 Indian soldiers were killed in action along the LoC. He emphasized Pakistan’s retaliatory capacity during the recent exchanges.
