For a detailed interview with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US podcaster Lex Fridman is set to travel to India later this month. Known for his thought-provoking conversations with world leaders and intellectuals, Fridman said he was eager to engage PM Modi in a long talk.
Fridman said he was looking forward to the podcast and called PM Modi & G the most interesting person he has ever investigated. X (formerly Twitter) had a chat. He posted, “I can’t wait to talk to him on podcast for several hours in a few weeks.”
Narendra Modi is one of the most fascinating human beings I have ever studied.

Exploring ideas including technology, history, philosophy, and leadership, Fridman hopes to engage in the conversation of India’s rich cultural past, PM Modi’s vision, and his style of leadership.
Fasting to ready oneself for the interview
Fascinated by the idea of fasting for mental and spiritual clarity, Fridman said he would fast for 48 to 72 hours upon reaching India before addressing PM Modi. He observed that, spiritually, the prime minister has frequently fasted for long periods.
Above the complicated, centuries-old history of India and his part in it, just the human side of Modi is really intriguing. For spiritual purposes, say, he has frequently fasted several days (nine or more). I too fast usually. Once I get to India, I will fast 48-72 hours before meeting him.”
Fasting aids him in meditating as well as considering the more profound elements of life, he added. “It provides me a perfect chance to meditate and ponder on how very fortunate I am to be alive to have the strange brain that finds so much beauty in the world even if I see the other side of human nature.” Above all… consider how fortunate I have so much love in my life,” he added.
Interview of great importance in India
Fridman first published his intentions to interview PM Modi on January 19th, saying, “I will be doing a podcast with Narendra Modi (@narendramodi), Prime Minister of India, at the end of February. I’ve never been to India, so I’m excited to finally visit and experience many facets of its vibrant, historic culture and its amazing people as fully as I can.”
