A lady was injured and taken to a government hospital after being shot at purportedly by a masked female attacker. The injured person was named as Shiny, 39, of Vanchiyoor, the state capital city.
According to the victim’s father-in-law, Bhaskaran Nair, a woman dressed in a hood with her face hidden arrived at their home on Sunday morning and inquired about Shiny.
The woman informed Nair that there was a courier for Shiny and that it could only be given over to her after receiving her signature. Shiny showed up, and just as she was ready to receive the courier, the lady shot at her, injuring her palm. The masked lady promptly departed the scene.
Thiruvananthapuram City Police Commissioner Sparjan Kumar, who arrived on the scene, told reporters that the shooting was carried out using an air gun. He stated that the police had launched a thorough inquiry.
