Joint Venture Announced: Sanjay Raut Confirms UBT Sena, Congress, and NCP (Sharad Pawar) Coalition for Lok Sabha Election

In the lead-up to the INDIA alliance meeting, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut confirmed a united front with the NCP and Congress for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, shedding light on the BJP’s strategies and the Maharashtra alliance’s vision.

Raut emphasized that the planned India alliance meeting was not haphazard, but deliberate, implying meticulous planning ahead of the election results. He revealed that Uddhav Thackeray would be in Delhi for the crucial meeting.

In response to the BJP’s divisive tactics, Raut declared, “We, the Shiv Sena, the NCP, and the Congress, will contest the Maharashtra elections together.” The BJP’s surge is the result of broken alliances. However, the people of Maharashtra believe otherwise.”

Contrarily, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee expressed her unawareness regarding the meeting. She underscored that, if informed, her party would have prioritized attendance over other scheduled programs.

Amidst the anticipation, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s outreach to alliance members signaled a convergence in the national capital. Seat allocation for the imminent Lok Sabha polls is poised to be a critical focus during the meeting, especially considering Congress’s recent setbacks in key states.

The impending gathering is pivotal for Congress, especially given the frictions with the Samajwadi Party post-assembly polls. Akhilesh Yadav’s criticism of Congress’s conduct in MP hinted at potential discord within the alliance.

The India bloc’s unification, comprising 28 opposition parties, aims to challenge PM Modi’s NDA in the 2024 elections, steering towards a consolidated strategy to counter the BJP’s dominance.

Having adopted the rallying cry “Judega Bharat, Jeetega India,” the opposition gears up for a united front against the ruling BJP, promising a fierce electoral battle in 2024.
