The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) announced the results of the annual regular exams for 11th standard students on Sunday, with an overall pass percentage of 72 percent. The results showed a higher success rate among female students at 75 percent, compared to 69 percent for male students.
An official from JKBOSE reported that out of the 1,23,026 students enrolled for the examination, 88,396 students passed. The exams were conducted in both the soft and hard zone areas across the Union Territories (UTs).
To accommodate the large number of students, JKBOSE set up a total of 1,179 exam centers.
Parikshat Singh Manhas, Chairman of JKBOSE, congratulated all teaching and non-teaching staff for their support and extended best wishes to the successful students as they move forward in their academic journey. “The annual examinations 2024 conducted by JKBOSE under Uniform Academic Calendar have successfully concluded with the declaration of this result,” Manhas stated.
He also expressed his appreciation for the close coordination between government departments and various wings of JKBOSE, which contributed to the successful completion of the exams.For students who did not qualify this time, Manhas encouraged them to prepare with renewed zeal for the forthcoming bi-annual
exams.
