JJP has announced its entry into the electoral contest for Panchkula and Kalka assembly constituencies, according to Panchkula District Head OP Sihag.
‘Now JJP has also jumped into the poll frame of Panchkula and Kalka assembly constituencies’ said Panchkula District unit head, OP Sihag on Sunday at the district unit of Jannayak Janta Party during a meeting with its executive members, held in Sector 12 here.
Sihag said that the executive members will go out in the field and invite candidates interested in contesting in the Assembly elections for Panchkula and Kalka constituencies and the names will be shortlisted by the party’s top leadership. He also added that interested candidates were thoroughly discussed as the party gears up for the election.
‘In the past six years our party as well as workers have been working for the welfare and development of Panchkula. We are hopeful that the Panchkula electorate will reciprocateour efforts as JJP is the only viable optionbefore them. The party will contest with great enthusiasm under the leadership of former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala.’ said Sihag.
It may be recalled that since 2019 to March 2024, the Jannayak Janta Party was a junior alliance partner with the BJP in the Manohar Lal Khatter led Haryana Government. The two parties have parted ways after BJP announced their spilt from their alliance after Nayab Singh Saini took over the Chief Minister’s office in the state.
