Jaishankar To Visit Sri Lanka On 20 June

India’s External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, is scheduled to undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka on June 20, 2024. This visit marks Dr. Jaishankar’s first bilateral trip since the formation of India’s new government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During his visit, Dr. Jaishankar will engage in high-level meetings with the leadership of Sri Lanka to discuss a wide range of issues aimed at strengthening the partnership between the two countries. The discussions are expected to cover various aspects of bilateral relations, including economic cooperation, security collaboration, and regional connectivity

The visit is expected to set a positive trajectory for future engagements between the two countries, emphasizing continuity and proactive diplomacy under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
