The Indian Youth Congress held a demonstration in Delhi on Thursday to protest against the alleged NEET scam and ongoing paper leaks in various exams. The protest, attended by hundreds of IYC members, aimed to address the recent controversies surrounding the NEET-UG exam. Concerns over paper leaks and irregularities have sparked widespread unrest among students and parents.
Youth Congress Chief BV Srinivas stated, “Today, thousands of IYC workers have gathered on the streets of Delhi to advocate for students affected by the injustices of paper leaks.” The NEET-UG exam, conducted on May 5, 2024, has been embroiled in controversy, including allegations of cheating and impersonation.
The National Testing Agency (NTA), responsible for conducting the exam, has faced severe criticism, leading to protests and legal actions. The Union Health Ministry has postponed the NEET-PG 2024 exam, with new dates awaiting announcement.
