Carrying out a swift and coordinated sea operation, the Indian Coast Guard has managed to intercept and detain an Iranian fishing vessel just off the coast of Kerala in the Arabian Sea.

The vessel, carrying six contractually employed Indian crew members from Iran. After being apprehended, they also alleged exploitation by the boat’s owner.
After receiving the reports of alleged exploitation, the Indian coast swiftly took action.
Later, this vessel was brought to Kochi, where a probe will be initiated to examine these claims.
After the examination, the appropriate measures will be established.
However, the authorities have not disclosed any details regarding the nature of alleged exploitation or conditions in the vessel.
