India Kills Lashkar HVTs Abdul Malik and Mudassir in Operation Sindoor

Operation Sindoor launched by India, initiated on May 7, 2025, successfully eliminated two Lashkar-e-Taiba high-value targets (HVTs)—Abdul Malik and Mudassir. The operation, aimed at striking important terror bases in Pakistan and PoK, was specifically in retaliation for the horrific Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians.

The Indian Armed Forces, comprising the Army, Navy, and Air Force, worked in tandem to target nine terror centers, effectively taking down the terrorist infrastructure without provoking escalation by Pakistani military units.

Key Targets Eliminated

The operation targeted Muridke, the residence of the Masjid wa Markaz Taiba, Lashkar-e-Taiba’s ideological center. Abdul Malik and Mudassir were among the fatalities in this targeted strike. Other key targets in Bahawalpur, Muzaffarabad, and Kotli were also struck, dismantling Lashkar-e-Taiba’s terror network in the region.

Operation Sindoor was unprecedented in its strategic accuracy. The Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force collaborated on the attack, targeting nine terror camps with precision strikes. Notably, Indian forces refrained from attacking Pakistani military bases, highlighting India’s targeted strategy to kill terrorism without unnecessarily raising tensions.

Global Reactions to the Strike

The international community has been following these events closely. Although there have been some expressions of concern from some nations regarding possible escalation, the majority have recognized India’s action as a proportionate response to cross-border terrorism. The operation asserted India’s resolve to its anti-terror campaign and safeguarding its national security.

Killing Abdul Malik and Mudassir is a major success in India’s war on terror. Operation Sindoor shows India’s firm determination to act decisively against those who pose a threat to its security. It is a strong message to cross-border terrorist organizations that India will act decisively and promptly to secure its citizens.
