Modern School Barakhamba Road and the Modern Institute of Education recently organized a seminar titled ‘Inclusion: Empowering Diverse Abilities Through Sports’ on April 13, 2024. The event welcomed notable figures like Mr. Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa of India, and Dr. Satyapal Singh, the youngest Dronacharya recipient. With over 100 guests, including sportspersons training under ‘Sportability’, the seminar aimed to promote inclusivity in sports and education.

The seminar featured a panel discussion on ‘Sports as a Vehicle for Social Inclusion’ moderated by Rishabh Gulati, Editor-in-Chief of NewsX, with insights from experts in the field.
Para-athletes Kashish Lakra and Arjuna Award winner Praveen Kumar shared their inspiring stories of breaking barriers. The event also acknowledged the contributions of various corporates, academies, foundations, NGOs, and individuals to the inclusivity movement.
