Popular YouTuber and BJP member Manish Kashyap resigns via Facebook Live, questioning his impact in the party. He hints at joining forces with the public and even contesting in upcoming assembly elections.

Manish Kashyap Ends BJP Journey in Frustration

In a sincere and emotional Facebook Live broadcast, famous YouTuber Manish Kashyap announced his resignation from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Kashyap publicly questioned his efficiency inside the party, expressing great dissatisfaction. “I couldn’t even save myself while being in the BJP. How can I help others?” he asked, signaling the personal struggles that led to his decision to quit.

Vows to Continue Activism Outside Party Lines

While stepping away from BJP, Kashyap made it clear that his activism is far from over. He promised to raise his voice through different platforms and methods, hinting at a more independent path forward. Without revealing too much, he suggested that he might contest the upcoming assembly elections, indicating a possible shift towards direct political engagement.

A Tumultuous Tenure Marked by Controversy and Conflict

Kashyap’s resignation comes in the wake of several difficult incidents. Last month, he was reportedly attacked by junior doctors at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) after a confrontation. Earlier, he made headlines for sharing videos that falsely depicted migrant labourers from Bihar being harassed in Tamil Nadu. This controversy led to his arrest in March, although he was later granted bail by the Madras High Court.

His tenure with the BJP began just last year, in the presence of senior party leaders like Manoj Tiwari and Anil Baluni. Kashyap had also contested the 2020 Bihar assembly elections from the Chanpatia seat under his official name, Tripurari Kumar Tiwari.
