Hyderabad: Police Conducts Raid In A Pub, 24 Detained

In the city of Hyderabad, the Cyberabad police with Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau, Prohibition and Excise (State Task Force) teams come together to conduct a raid in the cave pub at 10 pm.

As per officials, around 24 people including employees of multinational companies and two DJs for detained allegedly consuming drugs under NDPS Act.

Furthermore, 24 people were tested positive for narcotics drugs. As per credible information, the pub owners held an event by the name of ‘Psychedelic party.’

Later, they were taken to Raidurgam police station, but were granted bail.

In these parties, the consumers of narcotics and psychotropic drugs usually there. Upon further investigation, it was revealed, that these pub managers & organizers with their partners deliberately encourage and allow drug consumers to attend these parties.

‘Our inquiry has revealed that pub managers Abdullah Ayub and R Shekar Kumar, pub owners Rajesh, Abhinav, Sai Krishna and Sunny, and the two DJs Sandeep Sharma and Sai Gaurang encouraged and allowed the consumers to indulge in abuse of these psychedelic drugs. Many of their customers are employees of reputed MNCs.’ revealed cyderabad police officer.

Moreover, these consumers have confessed to the voluntary intake of drugs and the police have already collected information regarding all nodes of this whole chain.

Currently, the pub owners are absconding.
