High Alert in Jammu After Hizbul Terrorist Goes Missing While on Bail

Authorities have issued a high alert in Jammu after Yasir Bhat, a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist, went missing from his residence in South Kashmir’s Kulgam. Bhat, who was out on bail, was involved in a grenade attack at the Jammu Bus Stand in March 2019. The attack resulted in the death of one civilian and injuries to 28 others.

At the time of the crime, Bhat was a juvenile. Despite his young age, his involvement in such a serious offense has raised significant concerns among the security forces. Posters of Bhat have been distributed throughout Jammu by the police, urging the public to provide any information on his whereabouts.

The incident has heightened security measures in the region, with authorities taking all necessary steps to prevent any potential threats. The community is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police immediately.
