Some political links are emerging in the case. The main accused claimed that they received political funding for their events. “The Police will probe this angle as well,” said Nipun Aggarwal, Superintendent of Police Hathras, on Saturday. “The list of donors is being compiled to see from where funding is being done. We are also corresponding with the Income Tax Department. Whoever is guilty of this, they will not be spared,” SP Aggarwal stated.
