Gunfire Shakes Tilak Nagar: Two Persons Injured, Delhi Police Launches Urgent Investigation

In a shocking incident, two individuals, identified as Digvijay alias Sajan and Vikas alias Vicky, were critically injured after unidentified assailants opened fire in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area on Saturday morning. The victims are currently receiving treatment at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) Hospital, with their condition deemed unfit for providing statements, according to medical professionals.

Law enforcement authorities have initiated legal proceedings, deploying multiple teams to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and a comprehensive understanding of the incident is pending as further details are awaited.

This incident follows another shooting earlier in the week when a woman and her daughter sustained injuries in the Alipur area of Delhi. The preliminary investigation hinted at a potential connection to a property dispute, demonstrating a concerning trend of violence in the capital. Authorities continue to investigate these incidents to ensure the safety and security of residents.
