Farewell Party for Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit at Raj Bhavan, Purohit Says – Received Great Respect and Honor in Punjab.
At this occasion, Banwari Lal Purohit addressed the gathering and said that he is leaving without any enmity or grudges. He received a lot of love and respect in Punjab. He also said that the people of Punjab are very hardworking and have a strong desire to progress.
Purohit mentioned that he did not use a helicopter for a specific reason and instead traveled by road, which gave him a great opportunity to understand Punjab’s agriculture and heritage.
Purohit encouraged the officials of Punjab and Chandigarh to work with dedication. He also said that it is the duty of the officials to provide accurate information to the ministers.
