What Details Can Be Updated Online

Aadhaar card holders can update their address online by submitting Proof of Identity and Proof of Address documents. This service is free if the address has not been updated in the past 10 years. To receive OTPs for online logins and updates, your Aadhaar must be linked to the same mobile number. For changes to other details such as name, mobile number, or photo, you will need to visit UIDAI-authorized centers.

Visit the Aadhaar Self-Service Portal on the UIDAI website.
Log in using your Aadhaar number, Captcha, and One Time Password (OTP).
Go to the Document Update section and check your existing details for accuracy.
Choose the appropriate document type from the drop-down list and upload scanned copies of the original documents for verification.
Note your service request number to track the progress of your update.
