Foreign Devotees Call Mahakumbh Mela ‘Soul-Purifying’ Experience | Watch

The second day of the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj is in full swing. Devotees from all over the world have arrived to take a holy dip and embrace spiritual practices.

Devotees Share Their Experiences

Pilgrims from various countries have joined the sacred event. A foreign devotee shared their perspective, stating that the Maha Kumbh is not merely a significant event for India but an occasion that holds profound importance for the entire world.

 

Another devotee Priyama Dasi from Russia highlighted her mission. “We came here with a main purpose,” she said. “Under the guidance of our Gurudeva, we aim to share the knowledge of Sanatana Dharma and remind people about real life and happiness.” She praised the arrangements. “It’s so nicely arranged. Policemen are everywhere and helping us,” she added.

One another Madhavi Dasi from Peru expressed gratitude for the opportunity. “I feel very fortunate to participate in this Maha Kumbh Mela,” she said. She emphasized the importance of Bhakti Yoga and Sanatana Dharma. “Taking a bath in the Ganga is very purifying for the soul,” she noted. “We came here to grow the soul.” The Maha Kumbh has drawn participants from Spain, Italy, the US, Germany, and more. Madhavi Dasi admired the scale of the event. “It’s impressive how many people are coming from everywhere,” she said. “This is a great chance to share this sacred gathering with the world.”

 

Further one another foreign woman praised Mahakumbh mela arrangement, the devotee said, “I am originally from the USA but now live in Vrindavan. Being here feels like being in a truly sacred place. I look forward to entering the water with devotees from India and other countries, chanting together. However, visiting holy sites alone isn’t enough; it’s important to meet a Sadhu who can explain their deeper significance.”

The Maha Kumbh Mela is one of the largest religious congregations globally. Held every 12 years at four sacred locations in India, it represents a deep spiritual connection.

As devotees continue to arrive, the Maha Kumbh Mela promises to inspire millions with its spiritual essence. With meticulous arrangements and global participation, this event remains a testament to India’s rich cultural heritage.
