Explosion and Blackout Follow India’s Strikes on Pak Terror Camps

The first visuals after India’s overnight strikes under ‘Operation Sindoor’ showed a massive explosion, scattered building debris, and areas experiencing blackouts. One video, reportedly from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), showed the blast while people riding two-wheelers looked on in shock.

Local media reports, including the Express Tribune, also confirmed that Muzaffarabad experienced a complete power outage following the strikes. Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif also declared that a military clash with India was now “inevitable” and might happen “at any moment.”

One user shared video of blackout on X sharing his thoughts that India attacked 9 places in Pakistan under the guise of attacking only on terrorist camps in the dead of the night. “The innocent people you killed in my country were nothing to you. Two major cities are completely blacked out….”

Strikes in Response to Pahalgam Terror Attack

India’s military action came as a strong response to the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of 26 people. The strikes specifically targeted nine locations linked to terror groups operating from across the border. Among the targets were the main base of Lashkar-e-Taiba and the hideouts of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar, according to sources.

Pakistan Fires Back, Civilians Killed

Following India’s strikes, the Pakistani military responded with unprovoked firing across the Line of Control (LoC). The Indian Army later confirmed that artillery shelling from Pakistan’s posts killed three civilians in the aftermath.

Key Terror Camps Targeted

Sources revealed that some of the main camps India targeted included locations in Bahawalpur and Mudrike. These areas are known to house the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, two of the most dangerous terror groups active against India.

Rafale Jets and Precision Weapons Used

As part of the operation, the Indian Armed Forces launched coordinated airstrikes deep into Pakistani territory. Sources said the Air Force used Rafale fighter jets equipped with SCALP cruise missiles and HAMMER precision-guided bombs.

Special ammunition was chosen to ensure maximum damage to the terror facilities. Despite the high-risk nature of the mission, all Indian aircraft returned safely.

Army, Navy, Air Force Worked Together

The operation was a joint effort by the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. Each branch played a role in hitting multiple terror-linked targets. Defence experts say this type of combined action shows India’s growing capability to handle threats using modern warfare techniques.
