Excise Policy Case: Delhi Court extends Sisodia’s custody till 2 June

The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi on Friday extended former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s judicial custody in the CBI case on excise policy until June 2.

The charge sheet is currently being considered by the court. Sisodia was arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities in the formulation and implementation of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi’s excise policy.

According to the CBI, Sisodia played the most important and vital role in the criminal conspiracy and was deeply involved in the formulation and implementation of the said policy to ensure the achievement of the said conspiracy’s objectives.
