In response to Congress MP Digvijaya Singh’s remarks on the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Iqbal Ansari, a former litigant in the Ayodhya land dispute case, expressed a contrasting viewpoint. Ansari, hailing from Ayodhya, emphasized the religious significance of the city’s land, where people devoutly invest their faith. While various opposition parties are voicing their opposition, Ansari clarified that they are not against it. Instead, he encouraged people to visit Ayodhya and should take a holy dip in the Saryu River to purify their body and mind, and participate in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony without opposition. Ansari suggested that individuals should come to Ayodhya, give an account of their actions to the Lord, and seek his blessings during this significant event.
January 22 marks the day of the consecration ceremony for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
