The Election Commission of India (ECI) has unveiled its most ambitious digital initiative yet — ECI Net, a single platform that merges over 40 existing election management apps and adds new citizen-friendly services.
Dubbed the “Mother of all apps,” ECI Net will first launch during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, before expanding across India. The goal is to make elections faster, fairer, and more transparent.
Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar said, “If any voter downloads ECI Net and enters their EPIC number, they can get in touch with their BLOs.”
ECI Net is a single-window digital ecosystem that connects 90,712 Booth Level Officers (BLOs), 243 Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), and 38 District Election Officers (DEOs) across Bihar.

It integrates the entire election management process — from voter registration to result monitoring — on one secure platform. The system also links with the 1950 Voter Helpline, so voters can directly contact local officials or access services anytime.
Check voter status, polling station details, and corrections.
Use +91 [STD Code] 1950 to reach local election officials (e.g. +91-612-1950 in Patna).
Book a BLO call via the app for faster resolution of election queries.
The app brings together multiple citizen-centric and administrative features, making election-related work simpler than ever:
Apply for a new voter ID or make corrections.
Check your voter registration status in real time.
Submit and resolve issues related to voter ID or EPIC.
Verify registration details instantly.

The Bihar Assembly Elections — scheduled for November 6 and 11, 2025, with counting on November 14 — will be the first test of this digital transformation.
After this pilot, ECI plans a nationwide rollout to standardize election management across all states. The Commission believes ECI Net will help reduce manual errors, eliminate delays, and strengthen trust in electoral rolls — especially after Bihar’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) that deleted nearly 69 lakh outdated names.

By combining transparency, accessibility, and security, ECI Net could reshape how voters engage with democracy. From registration to real-time updates, it puts every election-related service in the hands of citizens — literally.
If successful in Bihar, the platform will become the digital backbone of India’s election management system, setting a new global benchmark for technology-driven democracy.
