Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a recent interview with podcaster Lex Fridman, spoke about life and death, stressing that it is useless to fear death. The podcast session, which was released on Sunday, had PM Modi presenting a philosophical take on the certainty of death and the need to live with purpose.

‘Why Fear What Is Certain?’

In response to a question of whether he fears death, PM Modi said something insightful. “We are aware for sure that life itself is a promise given in a hushed tone of death and yet life is also meant to thrive. So once more, on the dance floor of life and death, only death is definite, so why be scared of what is definite? That is the reason you should live life rather than worrying about death. That is how life will come to develop and thrive, for it is not definite,” he explained.

Prioritize Living, Not Worrying

PM Modi asked people to prioritize living rather than worrying about death. He emphasized that as life is uncertain, every moment should be utilized for learning, growth, and doing something worthwhile.

“You have to vow to enrich, refine, and elevate your life so you may live fully and with purpose before death knocks. you have to release the fear of death,” he said.

‘Death Is Inevitable’
Highlighting the certainty of death, the prime minister advised against dwelling on its timing. “After all, death is inevitable, and there is no use worrying about when it will arrive. It will arrive when it is meant to,” he concluded.

PM Modi’s reflections serve as a reminder to focus on living life to the fullest rather than fearing the inevitable.
