Delhi’s ‘Spiderman’ and ‘Spiderwoman’ Arrested After Bike Stunt

Delhi Police detained two individuals dressed as Spider-Man and Spider-Woman after they were caught performing risky motorcycle stunts in the city. Their actions were brought to light through social media videos showing them disregarding traffic regulations. The police identified and located the man and woman, who were subsequently fined for their violations.

Delhi police detained the individuals and subsequently pressed charges against them under the Motor Vehicle Act for various violations, such as reckless driving, riding without helmets, performing stunts, and lacking a number plate on the motorcycle.

As reported by ANI, due to the gravity of the offenses stemming from the reckless motorcycle stunt, the adolescent rider has been charged under multiple sections, including 5/180, 194D, 3/181, 177, 125(2) CMVR/177 184 MV Act, 50, 51 CMVR/39/192 MV Act, and 209 MV Act.

Notably, the Delhi Police claimed to have witnessed the “Spiderman couple” riding a bike without a helmet.

A social media influencer duo in Dwarka, South West Delhi, faced consequences when they were spotted performing motorcycle stunts dressed as Spiderman and Spider-Woman, aiming to create an unconventional Instagram reel to boost their follower count. Following the video’s viral spread on social media, the pair was apprehended on Friday for violating traffic regulations, such as riding a bike without proper equipment like a number plate or mirrors.

Aditya and his friend Anjali created an Instagram clip titled “Spiderman Najafgarh Part 5,” showcasing themselves riding a motorcycle. In the video, the “Spider-Woman” is depicted exiting a metro station alongside her Spiderman companion. After exchanging a handshake, the Spider-Woman swiftly mounts the bike, and the pair embarks on a journey through the streets of Delhi.
