One person has been confirmed dead after a building collapsed in Mahendru Enclave, Model Town, Delhi, following heavy rains that pounded the city. Two others were left with minor injuries and are currently admitted to the hospital, Delhi Police said. The rescue efforts are still on, with Delhi Fire Services claiming that some people could still be buried under the rubble.
Saturday saw another incident at Ashirwad Apartment in Mayur Vihar Phase-3, near Amba Block School. Three fire tenders were rushed at the spot, where it was found that the fire was in the property dealer’s office on the ground floor. No casualty was reported from this incident.
